Central Health Initiative - Grenada Launches Blog



Today's inaugural Blog launch of Central Health Initiative - Grenada,  seeks to use as many avenues as possible to educate nationals and other interested groups and individuals about health care developments in Grenada and activities conducted by Central Health Initiative - Grenada.  The mission of this initiative is to increase the awareness of chronic diseases that affect Grenadians and those of the diaspora by discussing treatment options, team care approach and the importance of having a peaceful spiritual health.

Central Health Initiative - Grenada was founded in June 2013 by Roslyn A. Douglas, MA.  Ms. Douglas has over 10 years of experience promoting the importance of chronic health disease awareness and its management to the general public. Her work expands to Atlanta, the District of Columbia, Houston, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, Pine Bluff, and of course locally here in Grenada. She has also received recognition from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention/National Diabetes Education Program for her work in the area of diabetes. Ms. Douglas also has experience in media which includes:  Bliss FM’s What Is It — With  Anthony Nolen, Voice of America—English  to African Department and the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation  - 900 AM.


Under the umbrella of her faith based initiative Ms. Douglas aims to empower patients and the general public with information about physical health and the opportunity to have a peaceful spiritual health gained through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
